About the Director
Chloe Waldron Reilly

With an extensive background in music performance on both piano and violin, Chloe achieved her Associate in Music (AMusA) with distinction at the age of 14, followed by her Licentiate in Music (LMusA) at 16, under the guidance of concert pianist Paul Rickard-Ford. She graduated from the Conservatorium of Music in 2004 as top of her class in HSC music extension and went on to earn a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the University of New South Wales in 2010.

Over the following decade, Chloe founded and directed a thriving music studio, mentoring well over 100 students and focusing on piano pedagogy and the development of foundational music skills in young learners. In 2024, she expanded her expertise by completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science, combining her passion for music education with insights into human behaviour and learning.

Chloe remains deeply committed to piano pedagogy and music performance, with 2025 marking her 24th year of teaching. Her interest in the psychology of music learning and performance anxiety has influenced her teaching approach, with a particular focus on performance preparation and resilience. Alongside fostering excellence in her students, she works as an accompanist for instrumentalists preparing for Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) exams.

Looking ahead to 2025, Chloe plans to continue integrating her expertise in psychology into her teaching practice while supporting her students in AMEB exam preparation and HSC performances.
